Wordless Wednesday-Bridge Sign (not so wordless this week)

I was unaware the Singapore had a problem with wandering horses and livestock, thus making this a necessary sign.

If you’re curious-it was taken on the bridge crossing from the Boat Quay to the Fullerton Hotel.

I laughed myself silly over “ancient from the 1900’s”. No offense—just a major cultural difference! But you have to remember that we’re from Boston, so many buildings there date back 200 and 300 years+ It’s very different from Singapore (as you’ll see in November when I’m reporting in from Boston!) and we don’t tear down buildings very easily (which can be a plus and a minus…our subway system began service on Sept 1, 1897 and part of the reason the system sucks is that parts of the track are ancient. If it were Singapore, Boston would just close it down for two years and then re-open a brand spanking new one…but Boston just doesn’t work that way (sadly). It’s hard to throw a rock and not hit something older than 1900!
