Recently named the “World’s Best Airport”–this writer spent 24 hours at Changi. Read here.
Not mentioned in the article–the lack of air con overnight, which makes for a stifling return at 5am when your plane is delayed 5 hours out of Hong Kong. Just sayin’.
For the record, nope, haven’t done ANYTHING on this list. Almost makes me want to go spend the day at Changi….almost.
Back later with the Wordless Wednesday.
Fascinating article….thanks for pointing me to it 🙂 Although I don’t think I’d be able to spend 24 hours there voluntarily….would get too fidgety.
I associate Changi either with the stress of trying to make my flight or the complete exhaustion following 30 hours (or more) of travel. I’ve never even seen half that stuff!
Terminal 1 is currently under renovation and is a RIDICULOUS FISH MARKET OF A MESS. You can’t even find the trolleys at baggage claim anymore!
So I think I’m just going to reserve any judgement until all the works are done.
