Happy Mother’s Day

I just wanted to take a moment and wish all my readers a Happy Mother’s Day, regardless of whether you’re a mom of children or pets, whether you’ve lost a baby, if you’re still struggling to become a mom, or even if you celebrate “Thank god I’m not a mom day”.

I also want to quickly thank my Mom, Mary, my Aunt Debbie, my Grandmother Theresa (RIP), and my Mother-in-Law Suchita for all the guidance, support and love over the years.  A public hug also goes out to my friends, especially my fellow mom friends keep me sane on this crazy journey.

Finally, a thank you to Ravi, without whom I would not be a mom to Hope (who we lost in Sept 07 at 10 weeks of pregnancy), Elanor (2 and a half) and Wheelie (12 weeks cooking, 28 to go).

More posts soon about our visit home…the lack of posting can be happily attributed to the fact that I’m feeling better and I’ve been out and about instead of laying in bed feeling sorry for myself and catching up on bad American TV shows. Singapore also just had its election and I have a few things to say, but that can keep for a few days as well.

Thanks and working on it…difficult to stay “impartial” and “uninvolved” like a good expat 🙂
