It’s the little things in life…

Sometimes the strangest things make me happy.  Like the 4 story escalator at Ion Orchard.

There are silly things around Singapore like this escalator that just make me smile.  I guess it makes me feel almost child-like again, when a one story escalator was a rare thing to see in my rural part of MA, and riding one was almost (not quite) as fun as riding a carnival ride.  I guess a big escalator like this one (or the one at Porter Sq in Boston to get down to the T) is equally rare to stumble across today, and as long as I’m not in a rush, it’s a fun way to ride from B1 to B4.

  1. I highly recommend the escalators on the facade of Orchard Central. They sometimes induce involuntary kegels, but they’re fun.
