Wordless Wednesday:Sungei Buloh Mangrove Walk

My friend Claire and I have been talking and we have a new resolution–to explore a new part of Singapore each week (if possible, barring sick kids and job interviews and such).  This week we explored the Mangrove Walk at Sungei Buloh Wetlands Preserve.

IMG_2553The creature on the bottom left is a mudskipper.  We watched it swim through the water and climb onto the tree root, where it engaged in a staring contest with the vinegar crabs.
